Sunderland Classification of Nerve Injury has 5 degrees:
- Axoplasmic flow obstruction (neurapraxia)
- Axon destroyed (axonotmesis)
- Endoneurium destroyed (neurotmesis))
- Perineurium destroyed
- Epineurium destroyed (complete transection with loss of continuity)
