it causes non invasive gastro enteritis.antibiotics should not be used. lab : isolating salmonella from FECES.

Increases the resistance to ampicillin, chloramphenicol, tetracycline, ceftriaxone, fluroqinolone. It is true that antibiotics generally not used but used in severe form. Ref. Harrison 16th ed.
