DIC is associated with thrombosis
Heparin : antibodies against heparin-platelet complex leads to thrombosis
PNH- membrane defect in platelets analogous to membrane defect in RBC(which leads to lysis) predisposes to thrombosis
In ITP platelets are opsonised by immunoglobulins and removed by the spleen. Thrombosis is not a part of the pathology
