Boundaries of femoral ring

Boundaries of femoral ring are:

  • Medial – Lacunar ligament
  • Anterior – Inguinal ligament
  • Lateral – Septum separating it from the femoral vein
  • Posterior – Pectineus and covering fascia

Femoral hernia passes through the femoral ring.
