Causes of massive splenomegaly

Some conditions causing massive splenomegaly are:
  • Chronic myeloid leukaemia
  • Chronic lymphocytic leukemia
  • Hairy cell leukemia
  • Myelofibrosis
  • Polycythemia vera
  • Autoimmune hemolytic anemia
  • Sarcoidosis
  • Gaucher’s disease
  • Diffuse splenic hemangiomatosis
