Ethmoidal polyp – etiological factors

Various conditions are considered as possible etiological factors in development of ethmoidal polyps. They are:

  • Asthma
  • Chronic rhinosinusitis
  • Kartagener’s syndrome
  • Young’s syndrome
  • Churg Strauss syndrome
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Aspirin intolerance
  • Allergic fungal sinusitis
  • Nasal mastocytosis
