This occurs mainly in tuberculosis and also in conditions such as leukemias, auto immune disorders. These are conditions producing mild rise in body temperature. In a normal person, the body temperature rises in the evening. Mild increase in body temperature due to disease, coupled with the physiological rise in body temperature in the evening results in evening rise in body temperature beyond the normal level. This can manifest as sweating.
